Imamia Medics Kashmir on 8th Muharram 1447 Hijri set up a dedicated service stall at M.A Road, Srinagar, to humbly serve the mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S) during the historic procession.
This marked the first time that the organization participated in such a public setting, offering a range of services including the distribution of fresh fruits, water, and other refreshments. A resting area was provided for the convenience of the mourners, along with free massage services for those experiencing fatigue or discomfort.
A team of volunteer doctors and health professionals from Imamia Medics Kashmir was present throughout the day to handle medical needs and emergencies. Several cases were successfully managed on-site, while a few were referred to higher medical centers for further care.
The initiative received an overwhelming response and was visited by hundreds of mourners. We are sincerely grateful to all those who stopped by our stall and allowed us the honour to serve in the name of Imam Hussain (A.S).
This effort reflects Imamia Medics Kashmir's continued commitment to community service, especially in spiritually significant moments, blending compassion with care.
